How we make money
Which Altnet is free to use. Some “check your address” and “see live prices” links may be commercial links. If you take out a service after following one, we may earn a commission.
What that means for you
- Commission never changes which providers we list on a town page, or the order they appear. Order follows published coverage evidence and then alphabetical order.
- We are paid when a referred customer signs up or connects under a programme’s rules — not simply for clicking a link.
- Free routes stay visible: each provider’s own public checker where we have no live commercial link, and Ofcom’s free coverage checker.
- We do not show commission amounts on this site. We do not use urgency wording, invented discounts or hard-coded monthly prices in v1.
Disclosure on pages
Where commercial links are present, a disclosure bar sits under the site header, and individual buttons may note that commission may be paid. Full wording: “We may earn a commission if you sign up with a provider through our links. It never changes which providers we list or their order.”
